Trauma

Dr. Johnson treats fractures in both paediatric and adult patients. Not all fractures require surgery. Some can be treated in a splint or brace and others plaster. Some will require surgical intervention for the best outcome.

The management of paediatric fractures is very different from that of the adult population as the growth plate requires special consideration and paediatric patients have the capacity to remodel deformity with growth unlike the adult population.

Dr. Johnson will review your imaging and discuss with you the best treatment plan for your injury.
